The "Belt and Road" diplomatic Envoys' Cycling Series in China came to a successful conclusion in Mentougou, with remarkable achievements in the integrated development of "sports +"

On May 10th, the 2025 "Belt and Road" Countries' Diplomatic Envoys' Cycling Series (Beijing · Mentougou Station) came to a successful conclusion at the West Chang 'an Zhongjun World City in Yongding Town, Mentougou District. This event is hosted by the Cycling and Fencing Sports Management Center of the General Administration of Sport of China, the Chinese Cycling Association, the Beijing Municipal Bureau of Gardens and Greening, and the People's Government of Mentougou District, Beijing, and organized by the Mentougou District Sports Bureau, Beijing. Nearly 800 people, including diplomatic envoys and students from over 30 countries in China, representatives of talents from Mentougou District, cyclists and cycling enthusiasts from all over the country, as well as parent-child families, participated in this grand event, igniting a sports craze of speed and passion in Mentougou.

The 2025 "Belt and Road" Countries' Diplomatic Envoys' Cycling Series (Beijing · Mentougou Station) features five categories, namely the Men's Open Road Cycling Group, the women's Open Road Cycling Group, the men's loop Elimination Road Cycling Group, the Ambassador and Student Group, and the Mass Cycling Tour Group. The multi-category setup truly enables all-age, all-gender, and long-term participation in the event. Among them, the men's round-robin elimination group of road cycling will be divided into groups for competition. The elite group and the mass group will each complete 10 laps, eliminating the last 5 riders in each lap until the "breakthrough champion" is decided. The innovative competition format has ignited the competitive passion of the contestants and brought the audience on the spot a splendid and thrilling visual feast of sports. After a fierce competition, the champions of each group were finally decided by their respective teams. Liu Aolin from Fujitsu Datu Kus won the double championship of the men's open group and the men's circle elimination race (Elite Group) with his powerful sprinting ability and excellent competitive form. His teammate Zhang Wenjie took the second place in the men's open group, and Shi Kuan from Xidesheng Branta team won the third place. Li Peilin from HC-NSVE and Wang Leze, who competed individually, won the second and third places in the men's circle elimination round (elite group). Huang Tianyi from Beijing Maniac team, Zhang Xi from Beijing FRC Dou 軝 team and Liu Yuanming from Beijing Xueyuan Road-Xsoon ranked first, second and third respectively in the men 's circle elimination race (Mass Group). STSEPANETS VAL and NASKOVICH TAIS from the Women's Power Team won the first and third places respectively in the women's open category, and Hong Sainan from the Xidesheng Branta Women's Team came in second. They conquered the track with speed and strength and won honors.

This competition was highly challenging. The event's pioneering loop-circling elimination system greatly enhanced everyone's sense of participation. Each lap was a full sprint, providing a particularly strong experience. I'm looking forward to competing in Mentougou again next year.
